Ethics in Action: Navigating a Black and White Subject in a Gray World

October 24, 2018 from 5:30-8:00 PM

Session Description:

This interactive session utilizes case vignettes and audience participation to explore the topic of ethics from the perspective of multiple players.  Is there such a thing as situational ethics?  How do we define ethics in a world where not every decision is black and white and not all information is known?  Are there degrees of ethical behavior?  What role does viewpoint play in molding our definition of ethics?  During this session discussion groups assuming different perspectives - the customer, the shareholder, the department manager, the employee - will examine how varying viewpoints influence our thought processes.

Participants will enjoy a light meal with the session.

This session awards 2 Ethics CPEs for all CMA and CIA participants. Tickets are just $25 for members, $30 for non-members and $15 for students.
